The Merton Conservatives have responded to the consultation on emissions-based parking currently being held by Merton Council. These proposals will mean people who previously paid just £65 in 2019 for parking will be paying up to £690. This will disproportionately impact those in the borough who rely on their cars and cannot afford to purchase a new vehicle.
