Former Putney Conservative Association Chairman Gerard Strahan is working with the organisation Medical Life Line’s on their Convoy of Hope to deliver ambulances and medical supplies to Ukraine. He has already completed one journey, and has now embarked on a second convoy, taking vital humanitarian supplies across the continent to assist our Ukrainian friends.
Medical Life Line’s has so far delivered 16 aid-filled ambulances to war-torn areas of Ukraine since Russia’s invasion on 24 February 2022. The invasion has destroyed clinics and diverted medics and supplies to the front line.
We fully support the work being done by Medical Life Line’s and are proud to see Gerard taking an active role in their mission and Stephen Hammond MP met with some of the drivers before they set off.
Each ambulance costs £15,000. You can donate to support this cause here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/convoy23
