“I was delighted to Visit Cricket Green School and meet their inspirational Head Teacher Celia Dawson, and to learn more about the vital work the school does with children who have special educational needs. I was deeply impressed with the focus that Cricket Green School has on developing the skills the children need for future employment, and I was glad to hear that so many of their former pupils have gone on to be successful. The school is a wonderful community, and it is no surprise that they have been ranked outstanding by OFSTED for so long.
I was also very interesting to learn about the work that Cricket Green School and St Georges Hospital have done with Project SEARCH. This remarkable programme has delivered fantastic results for children who have special educational needs, and along with Cricket Green School has the whole hearted support of Merton Conservatives.”
